The airsoft gun, many people may think or confuse them with a paint ball gin but they are different in design and in operation. A paint ball gun does not look like a real gun and is used when people play games resembling a war battle field. The paint ball gun is bigger in size and it shoots plastic that are painful. The airsoft gun was created in Japan out of necessity. Guns were not allowed under Japanese law and thus were created to resemble real guns but not break the law. It would be naïve to think that airsoft guns are not bale to cause any harm to an individual. The guns if shoot from a distance of 60 to 300 feet will not be able to shatter a glass. If you are shooting in the eye you can count it as good as lost that is why it is recommended that you wear goggles when operating the gun.

Airsoft guns are not allowed in some countries and in countries where they are allowed with some restrictions. If you own an airsoft gun in a country that allows them you should be careful where you go with them and how you carry them. in the united sates you have to paint the nozzle of your gun red in order for law officers and the public to differentiate between the real gun and an airsoft gun.

The airsoft gun M84 is a good example of a gas powered pistol that is built with quality. Using a .177 BB and weighing about 1.6 pounds it is a solid gun that feels good in the hand.
